Prior to the restructuring of the Law League in 1991, the League consisted of a number of smaller divisions. Seasons lasted only 7-8 months and were catalogued by number.
After restructuring in 1991, the Law League changed to Four 18 team divisions, and in 1994, to Four 16 team divisions, 2004 saw a further change resulting in three 16 team divisions.
Seasons are of a conventional length and are identified by the seasonal year.
